I am so ready to see my babies. It's been eight days. EIGHT DAYS. Eight days of getting a lot done, of doing nothing, of waiting on my car, of dinners out, of time with my man, of cooking (a week of meals in my freezer), and cleaning, of sleeping on a blanket, of organizing closets and fridges and pantries, of walks at Duke Gardens, of primping and shopping and in the last few days of really missing my children.
And this house is so quiet I can hardly stand it. It's eerie quiet. So quiet that during the day, I turn Pandora way up to fill this place up with noise. (BTW - am I last person to find out about Pandora? I am in love with it)
Here's a sampling of what they've been up to with my parents this week via pics from mom's phone.
All I have to say about the above is that girl with Georgia shirt needs to back way up. My boy is smarter than that.
Huge thank you to my parents for putting up with the kids. Especially mom - dad's had to be out of town on work so she's been solo for most of their trip. Which means I can't bitch about doing it by myself ever again.
Mission accomplished! They are great easy children!
